For me, the price of interaction is not worth the risk. I've never seen a time at work where speaking about literally anything has gained me something. And the risk of saying something someone else doesn't like is too big and too impactful on my career.

Reliable no, but difficult to access via a REST API yes

Which is probably the reason they were not compromised.

I largely agree with the writer. What I think we are experiencing is library fatigue, not javascript fatigue per se.

How do I know? I love writing pure js functions every day in my free timw

For anyone who'd like to help, crack open that text editor and make a string based js html version of the game. No need to mess with graphics and html canvas when a string based prototype is sufficient

Also use keydrown for handling arrow/WASD inputs and setInterval(draw, 33) to draw the scene at 30 fps

Good luck

We're all unfamiliar with assembly and electrical engineering too right, should we all invest the time to learn how to program bare metal? Only when the performance is needed, right?

I find that I can solve most of my jira tasks in 10 mins with string.length and string.charAt()

My estimated time to completion with regex is literally undefined

What happens when freeloaders show up? Perpetual energy?

Hehehe... appreciate this answer. I wouldn't mind writing my own JSON parser because at least I can reason about how the code works, the only context I need is my language's syntax and not someone else's design assumptions :)

In our country, less than 10% of murders are between people who do not know each other. And if you do not live in the specific bad neighborhoods that account for nearly all of our murders, then our crime statistics are literally the same. My town of 100,000 had 0 murders last year.

If you are able to solve the problems plaguing both East London and West Baltimore, I'm all ears, however it seems the war on murder will rage on

Several people per month are still shot in the UK. The guns are smuggled in through ports, much like drugs
