I was thinking the same. It's not as if visibility into whether someone voted or not has driven voter turnout significantly. Hell, I'd assumed this was private until I learned otherwise recently.

But it's such a specific structure, clearly there was an objective in mind when it was imlpemented.

When I hit the term "load-bearing" in the first sentence my mind immediately turned off. Had to forcibly reengage in reading. Claude trauma is real.

Any chance you'd be willing to share an album? I've considered doing this for my own home and I'd be psyched to study practical examples. Honestly this would make one helluva blog post (imo).

Update, answer is in the video at 20:30 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArxhS4SQaP0&t=1230

Sounds like the device will natively support sending the audio or transcription to any service you like.

This could be such a delightful upgrade for my hybrid digital/analog personal task management system. Right now I use an apple watch to capture tasks which then hackily route through a series of apps/endpoints to get to a thermal label printer, but that's just about the only thing I use the apple watch for.

Having an affordable single purpose device like this could be much better -- how straightforward will it be to post transcriptions of the recorded messages to a webhook via the Index 01?

Very frustrating. Not sure I even agree with the premise, but worse, this turns out to be just a nice story with no detail.

And if you lived in a busy area, and the cab actually showed, sometimes someone on the street would just take it and the drivers clearly didn't care.

Yep, us too. Weeks and weeks of work that'll need to be migrated.

For anyone who lives by bullet-point lists and goes way too many layers indented, Workflowy is the solution. You can click in and out of any layer of your lists and go as deep as fits your needs. 10/10, one of my favorite tools for brainstorming, organization, amorphous note storage.

Seconded! Something about perusing the blank pages in all their shapes and sizes feels like strolling through a world of raw potential.

This is assuming that you will individually come up with all the most useful insights relevant to making this decision, which is silly.

Just as a very simple example, what if the poster is 22 and this question is about considering their first job? Surely those in the workforce will have all sorts of useful details you could never intuit on your own.

And thus, the voice-assistant-SEO wars began.
