I am not a service provider. I am a site visitor that would be monetized through ads or other means

If you are talking about google search they direct people to the original website so the owner can monotize the traffic the way they want.

If you are talking about Gemini ( and other AI providers) no they don't they simply steel content.

I am asking to know if DS is any different because I failed to find this information on their website.

Will DeepSeek pay the content creators whom pages were fetched?

I think this is a great chance for us to evaluate how capable AI is and at what cost does it deliver such capabilities.

I would love to know how much token they spent on the rewrite starting from deciding to rewrite till they actually ship. I assume since the beginning of this whole rewrite saga they have been spending tokens on it every day so the number that Jarred mentioned in his blog post has increased a lot since then.

Also assuming the future releases will be done through AI as well I wonder how much it will cost for each of them.

I heard this kind of rockstar stories a lot from my friends but I never encountered one in real life. I worked in small and big companies and no one with allowed to use any obscure language or tooling. I count myself lucky.

I think AI will be too expensive soon for normal/non technical people to tinker with and this kind of vibe coding stories will disappear.

It's a nice video but even if it was extremely bad I would have still watched the whole thing lol.

I think this is because it is kinda an iteration instead of a totally new wild gimmick.
