Author here. OqtaDrive emulates Sinclair Microdrives for the Sinclair Spectrum & QL machines from the 1980s. It also carries the Sinclair Network over WebSockets, so Spectrums and QLs can talk across the internet. The project turned 5 this year, so time for a look back. Happy to answer questions! Here's a project for the holidays, provided you have a SUN Type 5 keyboard and an Arduino Pro Micro lying around. When you're done, you'll have a fully functioning keyboard :-)
Happy holiday hacking!
