Are there things you can't do not having a cell phone? I wish I could do it but there's always _sonething_

My phone is always on silent, except for my family's numbers. If I get a call from someone else, I'll see it at some point and call back if I think it's necessary

In Canada we have imperial for short measurements (inches and feet for lumber, people's heights) but metric for longer distances (kilometers for driving distances for example)

I have one but wish I'd bought a monochrome one. I barely use the colors, but the whites aren't as white as on a monochrome one.

I sometimes drive my wifes Ioniq 5, which has much less road noise than my Yaris, but the constant beeping to warn me about everything and screens everywhere give me more fatigue than the road noise of my Yaris.

I went on a 2000 km road trip in a 1993 Miata which was awesome.

I did lots of highway driving in my 2010 Yaris (weighs about a tonne) this weekend and I was perfectly comfortable. Though I guess the more used you get to larger, heavier cars the more you would find such a small car uncomfortable.

The 4a is a great phone. So thin and light, and even a headphone jack.

One thing I prefer on Mac keyboards is how heavily the CMD key is use for things I do often and where it is in relation to my thumb. For copying for example, CMD+C is _right there_. It's been a while since I last had a Mac, and my thumb has learned the CTRL+C stretch, but Mac was easier for that.

When I showed my Konica Hexar to a younger colleague, he said, but how do you get the pictures into the computer. It was like a world opened for him when I said that I don't.

I recently (as in: this week) changed my EV for a 2010 Toyota Yaris. It's a wonderful feeling.

Depends where you are. I am in Canada, and yeah we have that too. Street lights give off that terrible white light. And many people even choose to light their houses with that blue-ish light. I grew up in The Netherlands, and it's totally different there. Street lights are yellow and dim, and so are almost the lights in people's houses. Feels way more natural. I even noticed a difference in Christmas lights. Here in Canada everyone has those bright RGB LEDs, often even cycling through flashing patterns. When I went to The Netherlands for Christmas a couple of years ago, I saw almost exclusively the cozy yellow Christmas lights in trees etc.
