I hate that this article is talking about Photocraft killing Photoshop because of AI as though Ivan Kutskir didn't build Photopea years ago by hand. It was an amazing feat and Photopea is a great product and I don't want to see it dismissed immediately just cuz someone copied it over a weekend with Claude.

It seems clear to me that the point of the post is that it's odd that the separate pieces of software are giving the same answer to this question, despite that this isn't some universal constant in the training data. The post is probably meant to provoke thought as to how the separate pieces of software are independently reaching this answer.

Your comment reaches directly for the most boring interpretation of the post while skipping over more charitable and intriguing alternatives.

This is super unreliable. I clicked through a few of the listings and none of them were what this site seemed to think they were. In one case it said a unit had 50 acres of land, and when I clicked through it was a two-bedroom condo with no land. Another said it had 1400 acres of land and when I clicked through it was 0.14.

I would love to create one of these benchmarks for age of empires 2, but I have no idea how to make the AIs play it. Maybe I can get Claude to do it anyway.

This should be fixed now.

That is intentional. The painting isn't a secret, but seeing it all at once with its completed poem is the goal.

Which browser are you playing in? For me I find it works smoothly in everything except firefox mobile, and I'm just on an M4 Air, so you've got way more compute.

I fixed the text shaving. Thanks for the feedback!

I actually initially envisioned this the way you described with monospaced font and one-letter-per-square, but I found that it wasn't possible because the puzzle became prohibitively wide to such a disproportionate extent that it A. couldn't fit on a mobile screen, B. looked very odd, C. involved so many pieces that the challenge was elevated to a tedious level.

You're totally right about the edges, I just fixed it so that the letters overlap the tile edges, which should help a lot with that issue. Thanks for the feedback! It's a little less clean-looking, I think, but it's worth it for the practical benefit. If anyone has an idea for a better solution, I'd be interested to hear it.

I'll take a look at free positioning pieces outside the board too, but I just want to give that a little more thought.

Yeah I haven't been able to get it to perform smoothly in mobile firefox. It works well in mobile chrome or any desktop browser but mobile firefox specifically has been an issue I haven't had much luck resolving yet. Sorry about that! I use mobile FF too so I'd love to figure out the cause.
