Trump being banned wasn't during any election.

This was. As was the messing with Lula. That was when the mask really came off. Thankfully, the people prevailed.

That was back when Democrats were in power and the mask hadn't come off yet.

After what Facebook tried pulling in Brazil, it is incredibly naive to think this was just another oopsie-daisy that once again, one that just so happens to impact the left, again.

I use all sorts of things I hate all the time.

This is not the gotcha you think it is.

This feeling made me leave the tech industry.

It felt like I was helping the bad guys, and my conscience couldn't deal with that.

They're trying to enclose all of human knowledge so they can sell it back to us, all while displacing human labor and centralizing control of the economy.

They're telling us human endeavors are no longer needed if they succeeded, they also warn us that they might accidentally cause the end of the world in the process.

Why shouldn't we root for their failure?

Could be state industry projects, maybe?

Or to further build out total domestic surveillance, like they've been telegraphing.

I would also say that Google and Bing are roughly the same thing fwiw.
