I think the ability for AI to code is one of the most powerful things when harnessed by domain experts to actually get work done. I truly believe that is a big part of what is going to (ideally) unlock the rapid advancement of tech that actually matters (cure cancer, etc.)

Yeah I've built a ton of stuff like that for my friend group since then. We have our own little private forum and my other project Mulligan Labs which we built just to play our weekly Commander games when we're not in the same state.

Everyone jokes about vibe coders having more apps than users, but I actually think thats so cool - to me that just means more people get to experience the joy of building.

Totally. I also think to many people "AI" is just one monolith. The annoying xfinity customer support bot is the same thing as claude code (not even to mention non-LLMs).

The people I see succeeding a lot with AI right now are the ones who are just technical enough to be dangerous but lack the rigidity of long term software engineers who are used to writing code by hand. In my customer support world those folks are generally awesome at debugging and QA tasks which are the most important parts of making your AI-coded thing not slop.

The game continues, we don't pause. There's a 5 second grace period to absorb refreshes, after which the server auto-passes priority on the disconnected player's behalf. They can reconnect anytime and the authoritative durable object places them back into current state.

This also only mostly matters in the "full priority" mode where players are actively passing priority all the time. In the more casual modes it doesn't come up too much.
