Kind of, yes. DeArrow is crowdsourced, and I love that people can submit a better title and pick a real frame from the video. I wanted one step more: the actual answer to the clickbait, right on the thumbnail, without waiting for someone to submit it, since it comes from the transcript. Only works for videos already in YouTLDR's cache for now.

I'm a big fan of SponsorBlock for YouTube too, from the same dev.

Same feeling. For me the trap was mostly titles and thumbnails, A/B tested to trap my time.

I made myself a thing that tries to answer the title + thumbnail from the transcript, and shows me the answer if there is a good one. Never launched it, but it's at youtldr.com if you want to try.

So, friends keep asking me for tips and tricks on working with coding agents. The answer is "it depends", and also, I have no idea what you already are or aren't doing. The gap in skills between the people I talk to is huge.

But your agent can see what you're doing! So I wrote down 100 levels and made it so your agent checks which ones you already do and suggest what to learn next. It reads check.md, runs a read-only script that prints only names and counts, and finds interesting things for you.

The 100 tips are based on my own usage, but also on what internet-famous engineers have been doing and sharing.

The code is at github.com/virpo/levels. Tell me what you think! :)

What helped me with exactly this: every project has an INVARIANTS.md, a short list of what must stay true now and in a year. The agent checks every merge against it, and changing a line in it is only my call. So I review that file much more carefully than the diffs.

What is really hard for me to wrap my head around is that this is just normal for our kids now. My childhood definitely looked a lot different.
