What on earth was the idea behind "Quickster"? Napster?

Exactly.

Twitter wasn't just a brand, it was a verb.

You can't 'X' anything, you don't 'X' your thoughts.

Brands that become verbs are rare gems, and Musk swapped his for a letter you can't even easily Google.

I was trying to look up search trends for the thing the other day and it's literally impossible.

Looks like this struck a nerve over on Reddit.

Curious to hear HN's take.

My bad, searched for finland quickly on the homepage and didn't see anything so figured I would post it.

I believe this is the third incident in recent months.

Who would possibly have it out for Finland to not be a player in the internet market?

I am slightly concerned about the Helsinki cloud instances I've setup recently on Hetzner now as a result.

Wouldn't that inevitably end up with your server being more closely inspected (or at least more heavily trafficked) by hackers/bots?

I doubt that most script kiddies are filtering out potential honeypots/things like this from their tools.

It's deemed "experimental" so presumably they could do anything to augment it.

I always thought it was some kind of protectionist mechanism amongst the academic trades.

Can't do your own taxes if you don't speak accounting, you have to pay somebody.

Can't represent yourself in court if you can't even comprehend what's being said, either.
