Scientists "performing miracles" is one of the ways humanity is caring for the planet.

Wow, and also informative and funny. This is HN in its full glory!

Sorry for the off-topic.

Yes, you are right, this apparatus is invented. ... and banning it will "push a greater strain on the electric grid" (to use GP words) with the current level of adoption. :-) Really?

> ... going full electric leads to a non-redundancy in heating and cooling which pushes a greater strain on the electric grid ...

What else than electricity if used for cooling? Genuine question.

> crosswalks go across 8 lanes of 60+mph traffic

Do such crosswalks really exist? Seriously. AFAIK, 60+mph speed is allowed usually (if not exclusively) on Controlled-access highways where pedestrians are not allowed at all. I highly doubt such crosswalks exist at all.

Hmm ... isn't God a value, not a variable?

Sorry. I did not mean to offend you, but your response clearly show that I did it somehow. Sorry again for any intended or unintended meaning that my comment could have conveyed to you.

I understand this, but given the _context_ of the question it might be (deliberately) misunderstood.

What does it mean: "to eat something as vegetable"?

> As good as rusoto is, an official SDK is a huge step forward.

Yes. It might not be "a huge step forward" in tech terms, but it would be definitely very positive for wider adoption, especially from "enterprises" where all is based on "standards".

I got me intrigued. Thanks! Could you point to a source that explains geometric algebra from this angle? Book, article, web source, anything?

> But the Vatican at the time was seriously considering a number of models including some heliocentric models.

Could you point to publicly available source for this?
