I could never see the touristic appeal of Gdynia, but it is (or at least used to be) the very best city in PL to live in. I wouldn’t trade growing up there for anything. Unfortunately life displaced me to my least favorite city :)

Well, in his case it was more of very visual fake news that he was dead, or handcuffed and arrested. Also while it started personal, at some point became an issue of “if a billionaire with positive rulings of a court and other govt institutions cannot win, who can”. Now he’s more on a crusade to stop scam on SoMe in general, not only to remove the ones about him.

Wasn’t it like a month ago when Sharepoint still accepted alg:none? I guess that proves they’re not using Java :)

I have recently reviewed a paper that referenced my own article… but the conclusion was so off, I actually went back and re-read that entire article just to be sure there was no hint to the conclusion that the author derived. There was none. Uncanny experience.

That is a tragic news… I wish I’ve heard of it in advance…

Turbo Vision for a long time was for me like a golden standard. All the new TUI frameworks seemed like they were missing something.

Now I will get to see if that was just a nostalgia. Gonna use this in the next tool. Huge kudos to the authors <3

"systems where the entire state is knowable and predictible " was exactly what got computer systems killed in Communist Poland.

WEKTOR system was killed because it would made deputy minister of innovation at that time (Jan Mitręga) the best informed person in the Communist Party.

INFOSTRADA/KSI (Krajowy System Informatyczny - National IT System) systems were killed because they would disrupt the falsified and controlled information flow within the Communist Party.
