You can still die if you take your idiot-proof Aussie blister packs with alcohol. So it's more an inefficient use of cabinet space.

You can overdose on water too, they haven't banned 5-gallon jugs (yet).

No one is using that cloud crap professionally. The bread and butter of the CAD world is Windows PCs with tons of RAM and certified GPUs.

Companies that are bigger than startups vibecoding food delivery apps?

Even Apple and Google run AD internally.

Gotta support all those CAD workstations running Windows.

Is Apple hardware still designed on Windows PCs?

I get to choose 4 ports in a $2,000+ "developer" laptop? Is this a joke?

Most of the port options are decoys because it means 1 or 0 USB ports.

And no I'm not carrying around a satchel of modules like an old British lord.

> Apple hardware is already amazing

Apple also made some amazing hardware blunders.

My personal favorite is the force-touch home button on the previous generation iPhones and iPads wouldn't work if you were wearing a band-aid. I don't mean the fingerprint reader, it wouldn't even click. So don't ever cut yourself if you were planning to unlock your phone ever. It added basically nothing for the end user over the previous physical home button besides rendering the vibrate function wimpy and useless.
