On the flip side of things, going into a relationship specifically to try to solve your depression, misery, or loneliness can lead to unhealthy relationships.

Unfortunately, when certain (notably javascript-heavy) websites run so slow in Firefox, it's too frustrating to use given that Chrome runs them just fine. Even on a beast of a PC with more than enough RAM and a fast i7 processor, Firefox's Spidermonkey engine appears to just be far superior to Chrome's V8.

Where I work, we'd be totally happy to ask interviewees how to reverse a binary search tree. As soon as an actual developer creates a pull request that does as such. Which hasn't happened yet. So we don't ask about things like that. And everyone seems happier.

There are some services out there that have a model I really like. You deliver packages to your mailbox with them, and, when you're ready they deliver it to you in roughly an hour window. e.g. Parcel, Doorman

This is what I usually do as well. If it's something small, it's easy. Occasionally I get something specifically for my home, for example, a new computer monitor. I generally don't want to lug that around from work to home, so getting it dropped off at my apartment is just easier.
