I'll be surprised if human's communicate with each other in Silicon Valley?

Do update this thread in few months if you happen to really connect with fellow geeks :)

Just make your spouse/immediate family member aware of your finances. They should always know where the money is coming from. If your family somehow is not aware or does not understand how the food is coming on their table, then it is not the right way of leading the family. Your significant other should be aware of your income sources and debts. They should never get surprises doesn't matter whether your are alive or dead.

What used to be a hostels once, is now becoming a form of urban living in SF. At this rate, we might end up in less than 50 sq. ft of living in next 20 years.

I feel miserable and wish I was born in 70s or 80s.

For any business, expanding to new markets is as important as building new products. New markets bring new challenges and overcoming new challenges in turn improves the product.

For example - Offline maps feature which Google built for India is now used all over the world and turned out to be a very useful feature.

Even with voice-only stuff, isn't asking "Delhi weather forecast" much simpler than asking "Do I need an umbrella in Delhi today?". This doesn't sound right to me. Even if people are using the longer form that may be because of initial barrier and lack of training. Once they realize that they can get quality and accurate search results just by speaking keywords, they will switch to using keywords.

I think you made a good point. I am myself in the same spot with 10 yrs of exp. finding it difficult to figure out where to go from here.

The barrier of entry will become even more low to a point where building apps is no longer fun. I am looking for something which is a bit more complex and has high barrier of entry. I don't know where to go from here honestly.

mainly learning and doing something on own. It has been a long time, I haven't personally built anything. My job is not allowing me to expand my skillsets.
