Dude you're going the opposite way, I'm trying to get out of Aerospace. What are you specifically looking for in Aerospace. The field is pretty broad and the work you'll do will be so specialized that you'll be using only 5% of all you learn in engineering school. You can always take classes specifically for what you want to do, you do not need an engineering degree to do the job unless you want to become an FAA DER since they are the ones certifying all the work done by "the engineers".

If you look at the economy from a global point of view, you can see the money is constantly flowing between good an evil. It's the ying and the yang. You can choose to see the good or the evil but they're both there always seeking an unreachable equilibrium, like the waves in the ocean.

Some people out there are doing "evil" right now keep you safe warm and cozy.

I'm currently working on my first freelance project.

I got it through this guy I worked with at a company. He was my desk neighbor, he liked my work, I told him I was looking for freelance work and he told me he could use some help.

Isn't Chromecast accomplishing similar functions as Apple TV?

I don't think this is revolutionary.

I think that seeing it as a physical place helps conceptualize a virtual world.

I'm neither a programmer or a developer.

When I go online, it's like I'm out on the street. I'm exposed to others. I can interact with others. I can walk into a shop or a bank and conduct business. I can walk into a theater or an arcade. I can walk into someone's place, an open house or a private house. But it's not physical, it's all virtual, it's all built with code, data and information.

May be existing apps already do, but...

If I could create my own, I would include a feature to keep track of everything that has to do with filing my taxes so that you know what to expect at the year end.

I would also like to see a feature that can keep track of your investments and have like a pie chart of your asset allocation which I find to be very important.

The question I've always asked myself is: why is it that of all living things, we humans are the only ones that don't get dissolved back into the ecosystem once we die?

At least not in a natural way, some people get cremated others get put into a box. Why not get buried naked and plant a tree that will feed off of a soil enriched by the decomposition of your body? A tree representing the continuity of life where your loved ones can gather and remember you rather than a stone with engraving on it.

It is as long as you have alternative ways of getting online either at work, public library, coffee shop and/or at a friends/family member's house.

I did it for a while. Had internet at the office all day and I'd go to the public library to do stuff I couldn't do at work. Having limited internet access helped me use the internet in a more productive/optimum way.

I can confirm that in Canada and US photos, age and family status are not required on a CV (unless you need security clearance), this kind of information is considered personal and could be used as a motive for discrimination.

However, this was common practice in the old days and it's still common practice in most 3rd world countries of European influence.

Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer. Not very challenged at work and fascinated with what some people on this site are doing.

While reading news articles I usually google whatever I wanna know more about, that's how I stumbled upon HN and I've been a regular reader since.
