Thank you. Anything that will fight the possibility of Spotify monopolizing podcasting I'm up for.

Side-topic: Shouldn't the breaking changes be enough reason to bump the version to 2.0?

I understand you. But you're taking this way too seriously. People don't do things hoping it becomes the next Unity. Sometimes they do it because they can. To have fun. To experiment. And Ken Wheeler is definitely that kind of person.
In any case, these explorations are important. They are small experiments showing us new ideas.
Look at this: http://reactnext.surge.sh/
That _is_ React. mind blown
I won't be making a game with it anytime soon. But maybe I'll borrow concepts and ideas from it, and make something else.
So don't worry. Don't let it puzzle you. Just sit back, relax, and stay tuned for what's next.

This is exactly why we end up angry when we try to select a movie to watch on Netflix (and why we end up not watching any!). And also why companies like MUBI are curating (offering) only 30 movies at any given day.

Although indeed it may not be a surprise to us that our phones are always awake, I love the design. It's simple and beautiful. What many of us try to achieve with our web UI, epicjefferson has done with a simple object. Also, it would be lovely to see this piece in an interactive museum for everyone to place their phones.
Love it. Nice work!

He probably got the capital punishment. Saying that "I did an accounting package" doesn't seem like a great way to stay anonymous.
