A very interesting article, although i get 404 when following the OP post, i found the article here: https://martijnhols.nl/blog/how-much-traffic-can-a-pre-rende...

My impression of nextjs is pretty mediocre already, and perhaps this article hits because I'm confirming my preconceived notions.

Thanks anyway!

These timelapses are beautiful, thank you for sharing. Any particular place in Tokyo you filmed it from?

Also, I find it interesting in the second timelapse how distinct the separation between day and night is.

That's quite an expansive list, I'll have a good look. Thank you!

Excellent, thank you. I really enjoy these types of lists and will spend some time looking through them all.

[Edit] Huh, I'm surprised to find lichess.org in the <512 kb club!

Would it be possible to see this list of 'small web' blogs? As you write the pockets of the old web are largely discovered through personal recommendations.

The referenced resource is not created by me, but I found it fascinating and wanted to share.

Here are a few observations: Observing figure 2 it's interesting to see that Finance and Health,Society and news receive the most engagement/comments. Anecdotally I've noticed that HN feels like it is becoming more business-focused.

Observing Figure 3, embeddings has an interesting way of clustering data, it would be interesting with a HN viewer that suggests adjacent posts in the embeddings sense.

Kudos to julien040 for creating this interesting dataset.
