I love the concept and general flow of things. The landing page looks a bit to SaaS for me though, I‘d focus more on design and „feeling“. Otherwise, why is this application better than just generating an invitation using ChatGPT and sending it over WhatsApp?

Also if you want to focus on kids, I‘d make the overall design more playful & colorful, right now it’s all very dark.

Wish you the best of luck with your project!

Disclaimer: I‘m the creator of a similar digital invitation website (invitivo.com).

I‘m ingesting data from my local weather service into Prometheus and display it in grafana, and what I find most interesting is how the forecast for a certain day changes over time, e.g. seeing how many changes happen until the service lands on the actual precipitation probability for the next hour, as well as correlations between changes across days - something most APIs don’t provide by default but once you feed them into Prometheus you get the historic changes easily.

Great job at explaining the rules! Tried it out from my phone, how do I „confirm“ a move? I seem to be unable to actually finish a move.

https://invitivo.com

A website to create digital invitations. Similar purpose as WhatsApp groups for invites, but taking away the noise and adding way more personalized design to the invite.

The UI still has lots of issues and I need to i18n the landing page, but it works and a couple of people use it every day already. I‘m spending 2€ per day on google ads to see how my changes to product alter user behavior.

It’s a side project and I‘m not planning to squeeze money out of it. Just want the world to celebrate more and I want to experience building a product from zero to „actively used by many people“.

Appreciate all feedback and input!

Congrats on the launch!

Something I would love to see is an integration with all my messaging apps where I stay in touch with people.

Beeper.com offers such functionality (can also be self hosted, which is something I did) and it’s amazing if you can see when you last messaged people, what the content was, etc.

Beeper itself is purely built for messaging, so an app like yours would be the perfect companion to give you all the CRM functionality and could then use beeper to send the messages out and log the interactions.

The disadvantage if you don’t self-host is though, that you need to trust beeper with your messenger connections.

Keep up, this is a super interesting area!

You can corporate with Beeper, they have a deep integration into all major messaging apps and an API that allows you to read and send messages. Works for iMessage too!
