What I find much worse than someone talking directly to an LLM is when you are communicating with another human and they respond with LLM.

That's what Open models are for and thankfully there are a ton very powerful ones.

Right, I would consider that fraud. You can tell chatgpt to add or remove ingredients from a image.

The tool is getting blamed here when it's people that are using it that are at fault.

When McDonald's uses 10s cooked patties with plastic and craft materials to make their fotos it isn't exactly any different then when a restaurant AI generates pictures of their menu's. The Burger at McDonald's has never looked like the pictures nor will it ever.

It's a choice the owner has and if they oversell expectations it's on them to deal with the consequences. At some point it also becomes fraud.

If universal high income is just around the corner what sense does it make to enrich yourself right before it?

The answer, non of these filthy rich individuals making these claims actually believes it.

Don't US car makers self certify their cars? The cybertruck is a death trap for pedestrians.

> The thing that they showed off isn't something that they could legally sell

The cybertruck is for sale and FSD is active in the US. The US lets automakers "self-certify" that they are safe. So although I don't think this thing should ever be sold, it may end of on US roads.

Is that "flying" car a "real" car? As in full battery and standard weight or is it just a shell stripped down to the minimum to save weight.

I stand corrected.

> In January 2007, Swiss media reported that Zürich would become Google's second-largest location worldwide (after its Mountain View headquarters). This was based on Google securing a long-term lease for 11,500 m² of office space in the Hürlimann-Areal, with an option for an additional 4,500 m². The plan was to grow the Zürich headcount from roughly 200 to 500 employees in the first phase, with the new space having capacity for up to 1,600 people. A Google spokesperson at the time confirmed the goal: "Zürich will become Google's largest location outside the USA," surpassing the then-European headquarters in Dublin (which had 800 employees).

> However, Zürich's real-world ranking evolved differently:

> By 2016 (1,800 employees): It was already described as the largest development site outside the United States, but not necessarily the second-largest overall office.

> By 2019 (nearly 4,000 employees): Multiple sources ranked Zürich as the third-largest Google location globally, behind Mountain View and New York.

> Today (5,000+ employees): It remains Google's largest engineering hub outside the US, but offices in New York, Bangalore, Dublin, and London generally have higher total headcounts.
