what you said has nothing to do with what i said.. are you even a real human? i meant that it's sad people blindly follow narratives instead of looking into the issue itself.

No, he is correct! Hackernews is one of these platform without a negative-feedback-channel, and a very opinionated community, which is a serious problem. Especially when the post itself is a bizarre opinion, not a clear fact. This post is probably just another part of the campaign against him. Musk itself said he's not an engineer.

Thanks mate, feels good to read this! The sentence "The moderators don't allow any discourse that challenges the approved narrative." should be printed in history books, it explains so well how political discourse happens (or not happens) these days. Brilliant!

Perfect explanaition! I see this not only in politics, but also in simple tech or niche fields I'm very familiar with, sometimes even medical things I have to deal with for 20 years: If it doesnt fit the (uneducated) mods' view, it will get downvoted or (shadow)banned. Resulting in bizarre threads with 40k upvotes, but no actual answers on the open question, because the answers have been removed. Totally nuts.

Yes, yes, yes! I'm so happy to see this trending on Hackernews! Reddit has been an echochamber for simple, naive opinions, and people who avoid going deep into the problems of the world. Radical censorship by the mob.

In my experience, literally every thread or comment that even just questions the "big narrative", the opinion of the masses, is downvoted, banned or even deleted by mods or the mob.

Example: Germany is breaking apart politically due to the uncontrolled mass immigration topic, resulting in landslide wins of a far-right political party. I want to hear opinions of the voters, the protesters, the undecided, of everybody regadless of their position, but somehow, you will not find their voices on reddit. Like they dont exist.

Thank tarwin! The app saves metadata like priorities, tags and rank/orders, pin status, favorite status (for files) and sorting (for folders) inside the app itself, technically in ONE simple .json in the app's macOS data folder (might have different locations on Intel and Apple silicon macs):

~/Library/Application Support/.... .notesplus/notes-metadata.json

It's a simple key-value JSON, simply a list of every file, and the according prio, tags, etc. (if set). The notes themselves are not touched and there are NOT any .files or so.

Regarding speed: To be honest i rebuild the app multiple times from scratch, every single time for performance reasons. ;)
