I had this exact experience! Bettermouse has been fine, but the mouse speed seems to be vary wildly across different applications for some reason.

I am glad to get off of logi options though. Even before it finally stopped working altogether, it would frequently just stop working and my mouse settings would revert to default behavior.

We of course can't know for sure, but I personally err on the side of caution and keep these women as separate individuals. The stories are distinct enough that in my opinion they should be considered unique events and different people.

There is no prostitute called Mary in the Gospels. There was a conflation of three women:

- Mary Magdalene who had 7 devils cast out of her

- Mary of Bethany who anointed Christ with oil close to his crucifixion

- Unnamed woman who anointed Christ with oil and tears in the home of Simon

Not only are these three woman separate and distinct, none of them are even explicitly called out as prostitutes. So they both conflated their stories and assumed what the sin was.

Other Marys in the Gospels:

- Mary the mother of Christ

- Mary the mother of James

- Mary of Clopas

You’re right, but I fear this idea has become prevalent in audiophile communities where they only want to listen to files that are 96kHz or higher.

In my opinion, having a high sample rate only really matters during the production phase and does not have a noticeable effect on the final form factor. If the producer uses high sample rate during the creation process, I see no reason why the listener would care if the file they’re listening to is higher than even 44.1kHz unless they are planning on using it for their own production.

One way to look at record labels is like an investor, but I think that brings the connotation that if the business fails the investor is simply loses money.

In reality, record labels basically loan a lump sum to the artist to pay for producing the product. This loan also comes with a contract to own some/all of the final product. The artist then has to earn that money back in order to pay off the loan before they ever get a share of the profits.

It's easy to say that musicians should be more careful with the contracts they sign, but the system is kind of stacked against them if they want to pursue this career. Nowadays, you can make it fairly big (possibly) by doing most things yourself but record labels are still out their signing artists.

EDIT: I was incorrect. You don't have to pay back the record label if your music makes no money. I have removed the statement that implied that.

I believe this is missing context. From what I understand, Spotify pays big record label companies a lot of money as part of their negotiation for permission to host/stream their music. If they didn't pay these record labels they wouldn't have the music most people want to stream, and so they wouldn't have any power to get customers. They are basically held hostage by the big record label companies if they want to run their business because Spotify doesn't actually own any of the music they stream.

So now let's look at the artists under these record labels. Do they get a cut of the deal that Spotify has with the company? As far as I can tell, they do not. Artists only get paid royalties based on how much their songs are streamed, which is extremely low. They do not get any money from the backdoor deal that Spotify has with their label.

Personally I think artists have the right to be mad at both Spotify and their label.

Sincere question - why does this matter? From what I understand, all iOS browsers are basically just safari with a different skin on top. I don't see much point to me using Firefox on iOS except for the syncing. I'm probably missing something though.

From the Wikipedia for the ninth season:

> Lawrence considered the eighth season to be the end of the show Scrubs, going so far as to ask ABC if he could change the name to Scrubs Med School. ABC declined, but Lawrence still advised fans to treat it as a new show, even putting a caption under the "Created By" on the X-ray in the opening sequence saying [Med School]

So the showrunner treated it like a spinoff but the network wanted to keep the name.

I really enjoyed this, well done. I love that there were surprises like the LOST finale not being as bad as you thought (statistically).

Some obligatory personal hot takes:

- the Scrubs finale should be considered the last episode of season 8 (which was great). Season 9 should be considered a spinoff series.

- The Blacklist recently aired the series finale and I would consider it a disaster finale. It has ruined the series for me, and I no longer recommend it to friends.

- I think most comedies aren’t ruined by a series finale. That’s probably due to the character over plot idea, as there usually isn’t a storyline I’m dying to finish.

This is a fork of the Ship of Harkinian PC port for ocarina of time. If you just want to play the normal game on PC, you can go to the original repo here: https://github.com/HarbourMasters/Shipwright

I’ve been having a blast playing an online multiplayer mod of ocarina of time for the PC port that was made from a decompilation a while back. I’m excited to see the fun stuff that is made from other decompilation projects like this.

Also the Mario 64 port is still out there. I believe they got in trouble for including original assets at first. There is an Ocarina of Time pc port that has a pretty big community and has been around for a while now with no problems.

I’m very excited for this Perfect Dark port because I love that game. It would be cool if someone creates a mod that supports online multiplayer.
