Charity doesn't stop at the cure, but continues to shift with progress.

If a big public charity is able to cure a cancer type (eg. lung cancer), then it's next aim would be to try cure another cancer type. Let's just say they are somehow able to cure all the cancers, and therefore they cured cancer, then there's distribution of the cure, with a focus on 1st world but then it would have to go to developing nations too. Along the way, there may be issues that arise in recovery from the cure, so money towards helping survivors there. Shift goal, shift goal, shift distribution/priority of donations, on and on and on. For the proper charities that do want to meet their goals, something like this is what they'd do.

Read this within my half hour break and man, wow what a story. I'm not a software guy, I'm a sys and net guy. Despite not caring or knowing about hash tables, that articles a great read! Thanks for sharing!

I sorta get what you're saying, and tbh I've always found it hard to single out a single muscle from all the other tiny muscles around it. I can already raise one eyebrow alone, and I don't remember when I learned to do it so I don't remember the experience, but I do feel that 'single muscle vs many muscles' when I do that.

With the "muscle" in the mid-back of your brain, I understand that much more. If you respond well to meditation and get a sensation from asmr for instance, if we're speaking on the same area, that area gets sensations if the person is more prone to stress.

When I sort of make myself hotheaded, or have any drug, or even really relax, I feel sensations at that area. I wonder if you're the same.

I wonder how this will work with hypophantic and aphantic individuals (people with little to no "mind's eye" visual imagery), such as myself. Like would the effect still be registered the same as anyone else, or would it cause the imagery effect to lessen or be ineffective altogether?

I'm interested to hear your reasons why you think it's closer to reality. I don't see why the discovery of the brain wastage system would help a brain crash from being possible. Edit: Just looked back at the post and that it involves an image causing the glymphatic system to react.

I'm interested in how you accomplish this. I can do something along the lines of that by getting myself heated. I actually get a hothead and a tingling comes up to my brain like it's passing in a channel. It could simply be a sensation rising within the brain though, without an actual transport of something.

I can focus better after but it doesn't clear my head, just use that frustration or anger to become determined.

I've thought about this for so many hours over the course of months and likely years. Even as a mere college student, I know when it comes down to it, I can only hold onto myself. I've lost countless friends, acquaintances, and good people to just the way of life, or by being a panicky anxious lonely version of myself. Whenever I start to think someone great will stick around, they leave. I don't pay enough attention to the ones who have stayed, who are always there for me. It goes against my inner desires to be selfish and care more for nyself, but ultimately, it's something I've had to recently come to terms with. I have to make sacrifices for my survival. For me it was a diagnosis, for you it could be loss, rejection, depression, disillusionment, anything powerful enough. I'm very introspective now. I gotta stop or else it'll get as deep as an abyss.

Personally, when I upload larger files, mainly zips/7zs, onto the cloud, they tend to be important files like old family photos, or files for college/work.

In this case, I'd prefer that the service offers longevity (for an archive that's self-explanatory) and where the company is located.

Especially for deeply personal files, I pay attention to whether the company is located in a 9 eyes country, russia, or china. I'm going into security so it's a big concern for my personal files, random file x or y not really. Besides that, the rest is fine.

Most services nowadays have good enough down/up speeds, ui design, etc. so I don't notice too much unless it's quite obviously crap.
