I think that hiring process is what makes that entire team great and hum in such harmony. At the very least, going through that rigorous writing process helps you prepare for other applications or prepare materials for future applications with other companies. Hiring is hard. I have heard Bryan Cantrill say something that has also been true in my experience, along the lines of: Some of my biggest career mistakes were related to hiring.

Reminded me of a Planet Money podcast episode with the milk.com owner, who also had early internet years domains. Fun listen if people are interested. [0]

It's close enough that DBOS does support SQLite. [0] The default for prototyping is SQLite, but sure you can run it in production if you wanted.
Obligatory list of workflow engines and libraries because it's such a common need that a lot have rolled their own. [1]

Just simpler to navigate and less cognitive load, pressing a key and going where you want to go. Here's a video from ThePrimeagen with some examples.

It's possible if you do a wipe and do a fresh install. You essentially boot into the Sequoia installer. I'm also looking at possibly picking up a M5 MBP and was the first things I looked into.

No thanks. Downgraded to 8.2.3 years ago and going strong with a custom launcher. Has absolutely everything I need and nothing that I don’t.
This was the guide back then, possibly still works. [0]

Total deposits in the bank accounts sure. I understood it as they deposited 100B of their cash into their bank accounts by November.

Those numbers are quite off. The total amount of Leva in circulation at the end of 2024 was round 30B. End of November 2025 in circulation around 23B.

The Shield Pro is perfect for me and I have no reason to upgrade. Have mine downgraded and de-bloated using this guide [0] running a custom launcher. Like you said being Android and more open helps a lot.

Kennedy Steve is a legend, loved listening to JFK when he was on. Here's an interview with him for the fans if they have missed it [0].

Was shocked last night seeing a quite annoying Acrobat Reader with AI commercial during the NBA game.

The install script is still there, you don't have to use the ISO [0]. I prefer to do my own btrfs subvolumes, partitioning, tweaks, etc and just run the script after a base install. Uninstalling anything is a matter of seconds from the provided menus.
