Quick question for the crypto experts. I thought that the goal of a true random number generator was that all values between 0 and MAXCOUNT are equally likely, and therefore all private keys between those values are equally likely. Is this not true? If people are going to attempt to brute force your key, don't you want the floor to start at 0? If the floor is higher, won't the brute force start higher too?

I live in Ireland too, and I would hate permanent DST in the winter. I have to get my kids to school in the morning and the sun is just barely rising in the winter months by the time I drop them off. If I had to wake them and drop them to school in the pitch black I would lose my mind.

Same, I thought this was going to be a plugin for creating content in Unreal engine.

Apple has an allergy to fragmentation that can be both admirable and annoying at the same time. As a developer it can be really nice to know that your audience all has access to the same feature set. As a user it can be annoying to be subjected to Apples feature upgrade treadmill.

ACR is "not enabled by default"? Is this actually true or is it one of those weasley technicalities where the tv ships with it turned off, but once you connect the tv to the internet it turns on?

> "A large fraction of the flaws in software development are due to programmers not fully understanding all the possible states their code may execute in."

This is a quote from John Carmack and should sit over every developers monitor. At the same time, OS designers should be doing everything in their power to reduce the number of states a developer has to think about.

I've stopped using google weather here in the UK as well because of how inaccurate its been over the past few years and have just fallen back on the BBC. Maybe its related, maybe not.

But critically they don't own the sale. Will Tesla own point of sale, or will the Cybercab owner?

I've been wanting to build this exact clock for awhile now. My feature request would be to include a timeline at the bottom of the page that I can scroll back and forth through days of the year to see everything shift.

And apparently this is one of the main criticisms of Starfield. The Bethesda designers either never played No Mans Sky to understand the problem, or they simply believed a large enough budget could mask these problems.

It makes you wonder how many companies were sold to private equity to avoid having to leave control to a family member. I know of a very large company that was until recently family owned, and the kids work as executives in the company, and yet it was sold to private investors.

Yeah I can get a byd dolphin for half the price of the cheapest tesla. I'm sure the 2 aren't equally comparable, but considering all we need is a second car for my wife to drive at most 20-30 miles per day, I could never justify a tesla for that.

We bought our kid a balance bike for £45, there is no need to go much above that price.
