Tyk ran a fund back in March where they would give micro-grants to people working on side projects. They've decided to do it again and applications are open until December 20th
Here's a direct link to the application if anyone's interested: https://tyk.io/fund/

It's awesome! Highly recommend working with it if you're aiming for efficiency. There's also plenty of packages that help speed up development

Hey guys!
Retro brings back the magic of having full control over your music––inspired by the design of the iPod. Why would we want that? I don’t know, but nostalgia hits us hard at the weirdest of times and sometimes there’s harmony in it.
We’ve been spoiled with Spotify/Apple Music. Being able to have all your songs in one place is a godsend and is something we take for granted every day. I don’t want to take that away and currently you can control/sync Apple Music with Retro.
You can theme the app to really make it yours. Right now I’ve made a few skins that you can select within the app (as seen in the video). You can also change the wheel color.
Retro is 100% free to use and will always be.

This is pretty cool! I think being in quarantine made a lot of (tech) companies are starting to realize that they can support WFH efficiently.
Hopefully other companies will follow.

Hey guys!
We run a website for sharing and receiving feedback on side projects and given how times have changed drastically, we wanted to try something different and host a virtual hackathon in an effort to hopefully continue driving creativity and problem solving. :)
If you’re interested in participating, feel free to sign up!
https://sideprojects.net/hackathon
We don’t have the details as to when we’ll be hosting it, what the prizes are, etc., but we’ll be sure to keep everyone posted.

Lastly, if anyone out there would like to sponsor the event please reach out to us via sponsor @ sideprojects.net

Thank you! I never really understood why some sites fudge their numbers (other than for boosting one's ego)––makes it even more embarrassing when they get caught!
