In cryptography there are protocols that account for malicious actors

My master's thesis is on a topic in this field (Privacy Preserving ML) and from my understanding HE and other techniques have very high overheads(~10^3) on inference tasks and thus aren't very commercially viable.

Everyone I know hates AI customer service. A couple of prominent food delivery apps here in India switched to AI chatbot customer services and it’s been horrible since then. It’s been almost impossible to get refunds since then, even when there’s straight up fraud involved without screaming ok twitter.

Now ofc it can be said that they haven’t implemented it properly but at some point it needs to be considered that why isn’t no one figuring it out?

I am a student who will be starting my first job this summer. A lot of what is written in the blog is something I have been feeling subconsciously, the joy is being sucked out of programming and idk if I will even have a job in a few years. Most of my seniors from college tell me that they are just prompting in their jobs.

I don’t know how I will be able to build intuition for code I don’t write just “understand”
