Why I think reading books matters and what I get out of it.

P.S.: All text and images on this blog are handmade (as in not AI generated).

This is why I started creating all illustrations on my blog by hand. Maybe they are crappy but they are my crappy drawings.

As a creative person, I think a lot about the impact of AI on my work. If it's possible to create something by giving a chatbot a text prompt, what does it even mean to be creative?

In this blog I try to answer this question.

P.S.: All images you see are handmade by me :)

I used many Google products, but in recent years Google has been making choices that go against my ideals. In this blog, I describe the switch I made to other services.

If you want to know more about how these animations came to life I highly recommend the biography of Walt Disney by Neal Gabler.

I'm trying to degoogle and would like to get rid of my Google account altogether, but that's harder than I thought, especially when services use it exclusively to create an account. ;)

I always prefer the option of creating an account with an email address.

Cool stuff, but I rather don't want to use Google to log in. Is there, or will there be, any way around this?

The NL Design System (https://www.nldesignsystem.nl/) is a project funded by the Dutch government which works with Design Tokens. This way government agencies and municipalities can share components but still retain their own look and feel.

Same here. I have an older LG model with a Nvidia Shield hooked up. I never even get terms of service prompts.
