I got inspired by this post to add a sushi belt to my Japanese learning website: tokidoki.meertens.dev

Whether it's actual creativity or not, it is a lot of fun to have an idea and see it executed immediately!

I did not expect that Github facilitates other accounts creating scam pages under the domain I own...

I wrote it down and posted it for others to learn, and to see if Github can make it harder for scammers to abuse the mistakes of others!

I very much agreed to the "build your own tools for learning" route they took. I made my own site to practice Japanese grammar as it was hard to get feedback on that. tokidoki.meertens.dev -> it's open source so anyone can adapt it to their needs as well!

> To be sincere, I have a strong preference for written content.

At the InfoQ podcast we always create a transcript of the whole episode. It takes quite some time to turn the spoken content into written content, but it's amazing how many people come to me to tell me that they only read the podcast, but never listen to it.

Makes you wonder why one would not immediately write an article rather than spending the effort to create the spoken content.
