It is targeted to the PHP community, not the language, it has no dependency on that, it is written in go and is based on caddy. (I’ve contributed with one PR in my former job)

Can’t really assess the quality of a pay walled article, but HUAWEI non capability to meet security criteria is something that was proven by someone very close to me (high school buddy working as a secirity specialist for counterspionage agency in Italy) This evidence was mostly used as leverage to lower unit of piece cost by the government for low risk devices, whatever you get by my factual experience is up to you

This is nice! And the timing is perfect for my purifier to complain about the second filter that I’ve so far

Probation and in another region, though I was lucky enough to be in a core team and I was not impacted, it sadnesses me knowing about anyone else not as lucky as me.

As one of the candidates to being lay off, not everyone is covered by Swedish law, and in my situation I’ll be completely under the scope of being impacted, which sadness me because the overall experience with the company was the best I ever had. Fucking hell I’m actually pissed.

All valid points, about the thermistor i was more worried about it operating out of spec, it should have a specific thermal/resistance curve and maybe it is not following it anymore

As i said the battery has a lot of space, is glued, and sealed shut within a “box”, you should be able to throw them out of the window with no problem at all, I’ve dropped mine a lot and they are already 5/6 yo

I own those and opened them a couple of times to replace the battery and the earpads, no need of further investigation, the battery is placed there and for sure there is a short circuit protection in place by mandatory design, it is also unlikely they got pierced by something since they sit in a large space and the battery itself is rounded, so expansion is took into account, to me it seems that the battery was already compromised from the factory which is very very very bad

edit: no idea if the internal thermistor can fail by any means and it could have messed up the charge/discharge logic

Haven’t read the article, but being italian and a Serafini aficionado, the funniest thing is that when his book became known worldwide a lot of fakes started to be available (mostly chinese) and he started collecting them just to be surprised about how good they were (just a few to be clear)
