If anyone else is wondering, the 1k number reported comes from a source[1] not directly linked in this article.

[1]: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/digital/netflix-d...

> "At least one thousand Netflix employees are expected to participate in a virtual walkout to protest Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos’ recent comments in support of Dave Chappelle’s latest special, The Closer, according to a current staffer who spoke with The Hollywood Reporter."

This should probably be the main article linked in this thread.

Anyways according to wikipedia Netflix has just over 12k employees, so 1k+ walkout would be 8%+ walkout which would be pretty significant.

Live for yourself and the people you love, few things matter outside of this.

Ditch things which may seem important or interesting but which in the long run are unlikely to have a significant impact on your life (e.g. reading Hacker News daily, watching the news, watching TV)

Your wife is married to you, part of the bargain is sharing both the good and the bad. I don't know what the financial split between you and your wife is, but even if it is 50-50 tell your wife you are having a rough time. Try and work out a system where she carries more of the load while you figure things out.

Seek professional help, or engage in meditation.

I wish you the best of luck.

no reason, but politicians want votes and proportion of childless pet owners relative to general population will continue to increase

Great job by founders and team but I worry that most of these new CPG companies are not sustainable. Buffett invested billions into Heinz and Kraft, which struggled as a result of the commoditization of brands. I know fashion is different but most of these companies (e.g. AllBirds, Away) are not luxury brands. Are these valuations truly sustainable?
