Thanks for reading! I guess what makes startup life hard is that because there's so much uncertainty, it's tough to get a read on what is and what isn't useful. But I think most Lean Startup types already know that. My argument is that the problem is compounded by the fact that if you've screwed up in the past, your selection away from hard work can be almost Pavlovian in nature.

Thanks! I'm Patrick Leahy, one of the co-founders. Firefly plays quite nicely with chat platforms like Olark and SnapEngage, as well as with other existing customer service software you're using. Your customers can start screensharing in a number of ways: with a button, with a keyboard command, or with a Javascript function that allows you to custom build Firefly right into your interface. We also offer an API if you want to deploy Firefly in your own customer service product. Give us a shout at our office (213.784.0273) if you'd like a demo!

Thanks for the feedback! We'll clarify our copy. I don't know if you got a chance to see our video (available on our homepage), but it gives a demo of all the features of the product in action. We're also more than happy to give you a demo over the phone, if you'd like. Just give us a call at 213.784.0273.

Best, Patrick

That's a great heads up, thank you for that. :)

Thanks! After spending the summer building the product, we're really excited to publicly launch Firefly. Your comment definitely captures our mindset - how many times do you call into a customer support line today and it just sucks? We think support is ripe for disruption and being able to see your screen instantly makes the lives of customers and reps that much easier.

Well said! :)

Thanks for the feedback! I'm sorry you feel that way. I really though this was a story HN would want to hear. If you don't mind, I'd be happy to talk further offline. [email protected]. Best wishes.

Great job guys! Keep it up!
