Are they really going to? As someone with many years of marketing/branding/advertising experience, CockroachDB is a bold, powerful and meaningful name, that, in my opinion, is one of the best branding cases I've ever seen for tech infra products.

There was some research exposing vulnerabilities in Monero privacy tech[0], but AFAIK ringCTs and enforced minimum sizes of ring signatures fixes it.

That's true! However unlike most cryptocurrencies, it's possible to send private transactions on ZCash so the point wrt price/usage still stands.

I'd like to share some solutions. This is a compact notation for Elixir using the capture operator `&` and importing all Enum functions:
import Enum
[1,2,3,4] \
|> filter(& rem(&1,2) == 0 ) \
|> map(& &1*&1) \
|> reduce(0, & &1 + &2)
I've discovered that it's significantly easier for me to get in the flow state of mind while programming in Elixir. Comfortable and powerful. Definitely a worthwhile investment of time and effort.
