That's a fair comment. There is lots of speculation around NVIDIA is shifting all GB202 production to RTX Pro GPUs, away from the consumer 5090s. So maybe less about restricting user base, and more about focusing on where to maximize returns.

Almost 8 hours of downtime across all core workflows, and the word "sorry" or "apologize" appears nowhere in this post.

"If you were trying to ship software that day, we let you down" is classic corporate non-apology speak.

I’m done.

Friendship is hard and requires a lot of energy, and it will not always pay off. You're going to get burned, ghosted, and bailed on. It's far too easy to push the hermit-mode button, and doomscroll your life away.

Social capital requires *active* participation. If you're willing to invest, put yourself out there. Be the person that kicks off the things that are interesting to you. You'll find that people are interested in things you thought were niche. As a mentor once told me: life is a body-contact sport; get out there.

That is a farily broad statement.

How would you reconcile your statement against state laws that require all-party consent for audio recordings? e.g. CISA, or FSCA

IANAL, but to answer your question, maybe? The CFAA has a fairly broad scope. "intentionally accesses a computer without authorization or exceeds authorized access and thereby obtains, information from any protected computer; " 1030(a)(2)(C)

Sandvig v. Barr tempers that a bit, with the DoJ now offering some guidance around good faith endeavors around security research.

I'd suggest Jane have a good lawyer on retainer, and a few years to spend in the tied up the legal system.

The other difference is that the creators also had his consent.

Just lock the file into memory using:

```vmtouch -l /path/to/binary```
Yahoo! Pipes was the 2002 future I envisioned. Come 2015, it was paired against reality.
From that point onwards, no longer was the OpenWeb the promise; but that of a walled garden.
While I mourn what might have been, I accept the reality of my new corpo future.
