A while back, I was frustrated with all the hoops you have to jump through just to get a phone number for use in my projects. I missed the days when it was quick and easy. I get it, it's about SMS spam, but simple things like texting myself when certain events happen in my app shouldn't require all that nonsense just to get a phone number.
To solve this, I created an app that turns my old Android phone into an SMS gateway with a simple API. It’s been working great for my projects.
I thought others might find it useful too, so I turned it into a service: Txthis.com.
Enjoy and thanks for your support!
