It is a good or reasoned take (but perhaps not both!). There is some sliver of hypocrisy in condemning tech companies wholesale while enjoying their products. But just because something is hypocritical, it doesn't invalidate all related criticisms. If you don't like the negative byproducts of a good or service, that's a perfectly valid gripe. But those byproducts are a necessary consequence of the status quo. In order to eliminate or mitigate the undesired consequences, some change would need to occur in the real world that would require a hitherto unforeseen innovation or it would otherwise increase the cost of providing the good or service, potentially so much so that prices would increase to undesirable levels, or it would become economically unviable to produce the good or service entirely. So without more specific criticism, and combined with polemic rhetoric, it's reasonable to assume that some are arguing that the world would be better off without AI datacenters and the models they support entirely. And if those same persons enjoy those same services, it's reasonable to sense some tension there. Maybe they haven't thought the whole thing through. I don't think it's a stupid observation.

Ok, I see it now, thanks! I was able to reference columns after adding the table as a defined name manually. You've already mentioned that it's not yet fully featured, but just to catalog a few things:

- In Excel, when you format a range as a table, usually they become a defined/named range by default (Table_1). If that's happening in the background, it's not apparent to me as a user

- Named ranges should get suggested in autocomplete when typing formulas

- The cell name box in the top left corner should reflect range selections (e.g. A1:B4) and likewise table references when selected

- The cursor should transform to a down arrow and allow the selection of entire table columns when hovering over header cells

- Should likewise be able to select table data range when hovering over the top left corner

Sorry if you're already aware of all that!

Are you able to create formatted tables and use structured references? I see Tables listed as a feature on your webpage, but can't find any further information. If it's in the app already, I'm having trouble finding it.

There's no magic necessary. TFA highlights the exact mechanism by which markets can fill a gap or need via entrepreneurship when incumbents fail to deliver what customers want. It's not guaranteed to happen or work in every case, but there's money to be made by giving people what they actually want.

Yeah, but the thing about Vegas is that it's really more of a dry heat

Did you intentionally list things that are clearly not essential to day-to-day life?

It'd be like copyright trolling the Library of Babel. The set of useful programs would be totally eclipsed by incoherent gibberish (even if there were a means to ensure that the randomly generated code were syntactically correct). In other words, the signal to noise ratio would be microscopic and running this scheme in finite time would effectively result in zero valuable code being successfully squatted.

My custom poker study tools:

I really like the range memorization tool from GTO Wizard, but want to be able to put in custom/arbitrary ranges to test. I also want to be able to import and simplify ranges from other sites. Work in progress, but every scenario is url encoded (warning: subject to future breaking changes) and I use those urls in for links in my Anki decks.
