Everyone would be very difficult. You'd still need some people to make sure essential services are still functioning, and that still involves quite a large number of people.

There are reasons to remain on Google Android for now, though. For example, QuickShare compatibility with AirDrop[1,2], or compatibility with certain banking apps[3].

Interesting to see the per-country rates[1]. France is up to 85%, apparently!

Another reference is Cloudflare's metrics, which show IPv6 at more like 40%, excluding bot traffic.

At the end of the 2nd paragraph:

> Intel will provide certified drivers for Windows 11, Windows 10, and Linux.

Windows 11, OK. Linux, OK. But why Windows 10 for a new product?!

Yes, it now works in Zoom, but not in Webex, unfortunately. That's been a big obstacle for me. I'd need to be able to share individual windows with audio.

A key difference is support lifespan, though: 5 years of standard security maintenance for regular Ubuntu[1], and 3 years for Kubuntu[2].

If ISPs tried that, everyone would just go back to using NAT, even for IPv6.

There was an article on HN not too long ago about how to get a North Korea / Antarctica VPS[1], so this isn't entirely surprising!

A very similar function was just added to Microsoft PowerToys 0.95 recently, called Light Switch[1]. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but basically does the same task, including switching modes automatically based on sunrise and sunset times.
