Very nice project. I looked at it with the aide of Claude. I was interested in porting the Chess game that Claude helped me make for NickleMenu that runs on my Kobo Elipsa Gen1. From my understanding of Claude's analysis it would be difficult to port the chess game because each Cobalt app is sandboxed, and my app would not be able to spawn the Stockfish engine that my Chess (Nickle menu) game needs to run. Is that an erroneous conclusion? Also I probably could not port my Tailscale client to Cobalt for the same reasons. I kinda creates a separation. Perhaps that is by design: Cobalt = very secure, Nickle = more open but more risk. Finally the Elipsa Gen1 does not seem to be included in the supported platforms. Thanks. Cheers from Canada!

Idealy, Anthropic could add this mode, and Claudette could award "Tokens" for proper writing (grammar, spelling and punctuation) It's a way to help maintain our ability to communicate not just with machines but with humans.

TLDR: The Lancet and Elsevier are dič&$ for being behind a paywall for a 20 year old article.

Bottom line: Earl Grey tea gets its flavor from Bergamot oil. Don’t OD on it. It’s toxic.

Ok. So I wanted a fancy ls -l command that would show NerdFont icons but NOT the long pointers to symlinks (just the colors), so I got this.

1 million to his personal worth is the same as 50 cents to the average American household yearly income.

So he is giving away pocket change.

Big deal.

Folks these types of articles on CNN and others are just clickbait.

YC/HN should actively discourage referencing articles that are behind paywalls like "Nature"

Despite the fact they don't show the full article, they are getting your traffic and profiting by it.

"Nature" and other such publishers are simply pimping the article author's hard work.

Unfortunately SciHub does not seem to have this article.

This is a great alternative to Pocket or other read it later type program. Would be great if HackerNews had a save to Omnivore button next to each story.

I concur. Seems too good to be true.

My guess is that “membrane” used to facilitate hydrogen extraction is going to a bitch to maintain. Probably any kind of impurity with render the system FUBAR.
