You should port it to the Watchy, too - the only actual e-paper smartwatch I ever wanted to have

https://watchy.sqfmi.com/

Have one at home, maybe now it's time to dig it up again :)

So it's free for everyone, who paid for it! :)

Probably I'm blind.. is there any form of imprint on their page? An address?

But it's a fork, isn't it?

Would like to have something like this, but will be Meta locked-in and die soon after it turns out only influencers seem to have fun with it

What would 'human extinction' or the end of internet look like?

Qwen 3.8 Flash-Next is really missing here (because it's small enough to run it locally on a (formerly) affordable machine). This is what Qwen3.8-Flash-Next-UD-Q4_K_XL gives me for "an octopus operating a pipe organ": https://imgur.com/a/zHyHIqI Seems very similar to the output of Qwen 3.8 Max to me

I guess with more and more consumer devices running Linux based OSes (SteamOS, Android, Bazzite, Silverblue, ..) that becomes more and more interesting.

And unfortunately the "I'm safe on my non-windows-system" argument doesn't count for long, as the 99% muggle crowd justifies a shift to a world where our non-certified (=> 'insecure') systems are not supported by big companies anymore, as it's currently happening on Android.

This page is "down" :)

That's not grumpy but ignorant. Aspect ratios are not numerology (per se)

why does everyone imply you need a $10k laptop which then starts burning when you run Qwen 3.6? Get any other system with enough VRAM for a third of the price. Framework Desktop (Strix Halo 128GB) still costs under 4k nowadays, is nearly silent even on 100% GPU + CPU. (also it gets only slightly 'warm', but with a desktop you don't care anyway, I guess).

How does this relate to https://cells2pixels.github.io/ ?

Don't know why but I had to think of https://xkcd.com/2116/
