Huh, I thought Asahi would still be too unpolished on M2 to play games reliably. Could you elaborate on your setup a little? What kind of games do you play? What is performance like? Is it really better than Crossover for example?

To be fair I've been using 24h time all my life and I still sometimes say 5 when I meant 15 (3), at least once a year.

I mean, Orion exists (on Mac at least, although I heard there's a Linux version now?). Might not have its own engine built from the ground up, but WebKit is pretty much the next best thing.

I've tried this with information dense podcasts, reading the transcript while listening. That works really well for me, but I hadn't considered doing the same with books. Honestly seems like a great idea, I'll give this a go.

This is ignoring a lot of variables, the most obvious of which is that crime rates for people in economically disadvantaged positions are unsurprisingly higher.

I was going to explain some of the others when I realized that in the context of this thread — namely comparing Europe to China in terms of ethnic diversity — these misleading statistics smell like a call to return to a ‘monocultural’ Europe. My grandparents have had pretty bad experiences with Germany’s last attempt at that; I therefore want to stress how dangerous it can be to present statistics like these as ‘neutral’.

Yep, the memory in the ChatGPT macOS app is also starting to piss me off. I think developers generally dislike ‘hidden’ state, which is what memory essentially becomes.

God this is so recognizable, it's truly at my lowest moments that I decide I need a new terminal emulator and spend 6 hours in a brew install rabbit hole. The worst thing is that I'm still using Warp of all things
