They don't all use ETCS. Madrid–Seville still uses LZB and Adif awarded a contract in 2021 to upgrade it to ETCS L2, but the project is delayed/unfinished

Funnily enough in Switzerland they use "Poulet" to mean exclusively chicken meat.

Afaik the already do this. But another problem is that falling snowflakes reflect lidar pulses and heating doesn't help in that case

Same for Germany, but those don't get picked up, you go and throw them into different bins at a collection point (which is why you usually have all the glass in one bag). I'd say Germany has way more separation than Zürich. We have 4-5 at most.

I think this mentality breeds anti-foreign sentiment, which is then further fueled by the actions of a few bad apples. Japan isn’t the only country facing overtourism in certain hotspots. Also, the non-foreign tourists visiting Ise are simply Japanese tourists. It’s about managing tourism and finding a way to accommodate all kinds of visitors.

Somebody said this on the xcancel thread but this also means that the Dixmier conjecture for the third Weyl algebra is disproven

Can I ask, just out of curiosity, where the AI lab was?

Apollo (the original publisher of this) is a right-conservative outlet and has been involved in a few disinformation scandals before (like during the Mannheim Christmas market attack where they spread a forged police note saying that the suspect was a black man) so I’d take this with a grain of salt.

The article is also pretty clickbaity. Current law says that media paid for by taxes shouldn’t be purposefully buried deep in menus or made hard for an average user to find than private media. It does not mean they have to be ranked above everyone else in search results or algorithmic feeds; search and ranking still have to be non-discriminatory. And now Apollo claims to have seen an internal draft from media regulators on a state level that would expand this to individual posts in algorithmic feeds, that's it. They're blowing it out of proportion. Nobody's talking about "forceful algorithm boost" or changing the ranking or search or stuff like that. Also Apollo won't share this doc so none of their claims can really be verified either way.

There's always a "courtesy of..." under each image board and it seems like it's all books released for each film.

For anybody interested in the book: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/52259619-dominion I would highly recommend. Holland (historian, not the actor) makes a great case about why many of our thoughts nowadays are rooted in Christianity.
