Because the headline underplays it quite a bit the actual story here is that the Social Security Administration has referred two DOGE employees for Hatch Act violations after discovering contacts with a political group seeking SSA data to overturn election results.

please do go ahead and correct me and name your top 3 free speech absolutists so we can all see how I was “being too emotional” and couldn’t see the obvious truth right in front of me about how free speech really is a deeply held belief of the nation.

Ah yes, the famously fair and independent Republican Party. Terrific sourcing.

This is just such a ridiculous joke in 2026 that nobody outside the US and many inside it could continue to take the idea that the US has any actual interest in free speech as a principled argument. We have all just watched for the last decade the people who cried the loudest about it immediately do a 180 the moment they got the political power to practice it. I can’t think of a single prominent “free speech absolutist” who didn’t fail this test miserably and immediately. So no, I don’t actually believe that the US values it above all else, I think that’s some bullshit that people say because they are only interested in the idea that they personally can say and do whatever they feel like and it doesn’t extend beyond that in practice.

His entire account is dedicated to saying outlandish shit like this. There’s no position he won’t defend. Just downvote and move on.

It’s already extremely clear that you don’t actually give a shit about the rules because you certainly don’t seem to make any effort to follow them yourselves. As someone else pointed out you’re just lying and misrepresenting things to stop others from talking, I really couldn’t have much less respect for someone like that.

Right… why do you think they spent so much time intentionally rigging the courts with illegitimate judges? They’ve been planning a non-democratic takeover of the country FOR A LONG FUCKING TIME. They are just more open about it now.

The EU has a plan to replace all of that in the pipeline already. That isn’t new, they are already like 5 years into it and I think looking to launch it next year. That one I actually don’t think is going to be a problem at all as a lot of it is already built and basically ready to go.

He absolutely is not going to accept it. He wants to die a free man and that plan runs into serious problems very quickly if he loses.
