I miss when people genuinely interacted with each other on social media. Now every one of them has turned into an infinite scrolling bloat. I built an "old school" alternative where no algorithms define what you see.
The shutdown date is there because I don't want it to become what we call social media today.

You are welcome! It is nice when you need to quickly crop or trim something and don’t want to launch a video editing app.

Thank you. The app has two sections: curated and trending. Curated repositories are prefetched and stored in the database. Trending repositories are fetched daily via the GitHub Search API and subsequently stored. This process enriches the repository pool and allows the backend to index each repo. Whenever a user interacts with a repository (star or pass), the action is saved; this ensures the same repository is not displayed twice.

The main selling points are no ads, no algorithms, no infinite scroll, and no tracking.
I don't have any expectations from it of course, but it is amazing that I am able to create this on my own in just a few weeks. Maybe years of experience plus a few weeks, but nonetheless, I find it amazing.
