We're building a platform for live group teaching, training, and team building (think interactive slide decks, live polls, games, and quizzes). We want to make group experiences more engaging, fun, and useful.
Our small, fully-remote team is looking to hire a full-time (contract) software engineer for 4-6 months to help us build product features and updates. You’ll work directly with our CTO to create and launch new features and make our product better. This is a central, hands-on contributor role and you'll build things that directly improve our customers lives (and see immediate results from the things you build).
We're looking for:
- senior level work experience
- strong vue.js/javascript skills
- very good spoken English
For this role we're offering $4000-$8000/month depending on location and experience. All applications will be reviewed by a real person.Full job description: https://darkgrey.notion.site/Senior-Front-end-Software-Engin...

Highly recommended!
We have a lot of trivia games, some Quiplash-style games, photo sharing games, and other interaction slides that make for some really interesting and fun event options. And everything we have is customizable so you can add content specific to your company if you want.
Plus there's a sound board :)
I'm working on a related project[1] aimed at the same problem but with a slightly different take. We don't do game hosting and our software is more of a "build your own zoom games" platform with a slideshow/presentation UI. But I think a lot of companies probably want a dedicated host and would be happy to pay for it (I'd be interested to know what that breakdown looks like).
In terms of what games you're working on, I think you're on the right track with games that help create real connections and deeper relationships. It looks like remote work will be permanently elevated (not to current numbers, but estimates look like >300% above pre-pandemic levels[2]). Bottom line is I think the team bonding and remote closeness problem is here to stay.

It's called Slides with Friends: https://slideswith.com
As you might expect this started as a pandemic side project, but it's since turned into a full-fledged company and we've had lots of demand to solve the very real and very difficult problem of creating team connection/cohesion remotely.
Message me if you're interested in this space, I'd love to talk!
I've been looking for something like this for the past few months — we've recently shipped our MVP and I'm gearing up for the long push to find good marketing channels and the right features/message to fit. I find it incredibly valuable to have good community support during this phase because there's often very little outside positive feedback.
And I personally love the bootstrapper focus and the entire SEAL concept (this was the first I'd heard of it).
Also, side note, did Google borrow the 360 branding from Adobe or the other way around? http://www.adobe.com/marketing-cloud/web-analytics.html (see: Adobe Customer360)
Fine-tuning these models for different applications has been a great way for me to build out new things without relying on an enormous fleet of K40s to train a new set from scratch. Lots of progress in this field, thanks to the whole team for releasing this.
