Thanks for sharing! I'm the maker of this extension :)

To add a bit more context, I started building this app about a month ago. It all started with a simple "Save" button that would push code to a web app I had previously built to save code online.

I shared it with a small group of beta testers. They all had such great feedback & suggestions. Thanks to them the extension is now 10x better! It now has:

> Select text anywhere & right-click to save as snippet. > Access recent saves in a sidebar from any tab. > Save webpages > Organize snippets in collections & tags > And of course a way better UI and experience!

It still has some bugs & issues, but I couldn't wait to share it with other developers online. Really excited to hear your feedback!

Your site always surfaces to the top of Google when I'm searching for the randomest things in history. Love it!

I didn't know this was missing from my life. Love the idea!

I dont even bother reading on the actual site anymore. I just save them to Pocket and read a clean text-only version on it later.

I'm building an alternative to stackoverflow- thiscodeworks.com

Reasons why I felt the need to build an entirely new website for code snippets is because as somebody who was learning to code, I found the site incredibly daunting and unfriendly for newbies only favouring expert coders on the platform. Because:

- I can't upvote or post comments because I dont have enough reputation.

- If I'm confused, how do I ask for help if the only way to say something is post an answer?

- The snippets aren't recyclable. Meaning they are always in response to somebody else's problem. As somebody learning to code, how do I change this code to fit mine? Once again, I'm stuck figuring it out.

Anyhow my website (thiscodeworks.com) is a work in progress, but I hope I can resolve these problems & more for others like me. Suggestions welcome!

Say what you want, but a college degree is still necessary for high paying jobs.

Smart, catching on the "hate Medium & I'm leaving it" trend

Set up a website with blogs and embedded YouTube videos. Do import some of your blogs to Medium (but dont expect to get paid much from them). The real money lies in Google Adsense implemented on your site and YT videos.

I also got a password reset email from Spotify today. I think it's a chain event.

I did a late application as well, and got a reply about 2 weeks later. But it was in April, so I think it wasn't as late your application which is why I got a quicker response.
