Was not even talking about aggressive behavior, but complaining and annoyed looks. That is still (emotional) pressure.

Yes indeed. But stressed passengers tend to not think about that, so the pressure they put on the traindriver is real.

(have you ever been in a train on hold, unclear information about delay and seen the looks and talks of passengers towards the train driver walking outside who announced before he also does not know when the ride can go on? Like he is personally responsible for the delay and incompetent or straight evil)

"They need to keep trains on schedule, using a buggy system, with a manager looking over their shoulder."

Also lots of potentially angry passengers who want to get to their destination in time. Will miss important appointments, or even the last train connection for the day and be stranded if the train drivers decide to wait a little bit longer to be on the save side.

" I just hope it isn't Katniss Everdeen or Edward Cullen."

How about Harry Potter?

Well, all of those have in common that they are fantasy and not really connected to this reality, while Tom Sawyer was a fictional adventure in reality.

Depends. If the models are smart enough to write enough solid helper scripts, so that the model only does the big picture thinking, not guiding every step .. then they will get powerful and capable quickly. I am also playing a bit with minecraft AI right now. Fun to experiment.

It is not just subagents. Antrophic just tightened the limits again heavily it seems. I just used 43 percent of my fable use in 2 sessions starting fresh today. Before their IPO I never hit any limits.

Am not happy and rather investigate now the alternatives than upgrading again.

"Lawns that require almost no maintenance using native plants have always been possible, but they don't reflect the class and status dynamics that neighborhoods want to show off."

In wild nature, there tend to be spikey things. I still run barefoot there. I don't care about status dynamics, but I do also like a soft grassy ground to jump and run around with my kids,

But I do let patches on the side grow complete, only mowing once a year - and especially before the fireflies come - I let the whole lawn grow extra high (with only some ways cut low) for the fireflies and insects. In spring the flowers are also nice. Still, some patches of nice lawn I always have and use with joy. It all is a compromise (still it greatly triggers me, if family members mow too early and too much).

"Lawns aren’t native to your area."

Aside to what the other commentor has said, nature doea not mean static preservation, but it always changed all the time (and we are part of it).

"One almost forgets how easy it is to read a wall of text when it was written by a human. "

Erm, this really depends on the human I think.

Well, what is natural and where is the line?

We domisticated grazing animals since a while in large numbers, the smaller ones do produce something like a lawn. And soft grass is just really nice to play around with the kids. So I also simply keep bushes and tree spots for the leaves and insects.

Slight OT Survival tip, if you are starving don't go for mushrooms in the first place (unless you really, really know) - even if you get the right one, they don't contain much energy for you to burn anyway. The larves you often found in them, probably contain more. So mushrooms are a nice addition (and in rare cases good medicine), but for survival you should focus on something else.

"nor asking themselves if there's prior art tackling the same problem"

Asking AI is asking for prior art to not invent the wheel yet again.
