"This framework offers unexpected insight into why most AI-generated art fails aesthetically while certain approaches succeed. The failure isn’t technical, current models can produce technically accomplished images. The failure is philosophical: they produce beauty that is too smooth, too familiar, too eager to please. In Han’s terms, they are pornographic rather than erotic, immediately consumable rather than enigmatic."

Does this resonate with anyone? Any more properly formal techniques to push diffusion / flow-matching models out of distribution? There's no "temperature" parameter.

Cool app! Would you mind sharing what you used for the node interface? I am deliberating between Rete and React Flow for a project.

I'm actually in the market for some rat racing hardware. Anything you'd recommend that won't be obsolete in six months?

So many words to say so little. Substack, writers without editors.

Very cool, but it actually works better if I just use the CV field as a search field and type what I'm interested in working on.

It's still painfully slow, and the WYSIWYG editing is very clunky.

The real time is not as real time as, say, Google Docs. There's a lot of lag.
