I fell in love with the narrow width of Iosevka which saved quite a bit of screen space for other things. Although there are always some people that loathe whenever I post screenshots of code using the font, "the m looks like a solid block of pixels" and the like.

Well you could host it in a containerized app service like AWS's Fargate and it would still be considered serverless.

When everyone uses the same handful of platforms, then everyone becomes the indirect target and victim of those big incidents. The recent AWS and Cloudflare outages are vivid examples. And then the owners of those platforms target everyone with their enshittification as well to milk more and more money.

> Many software developers have argued that working like a pack of hyenas and shipping hundreds of commits a day without reading your code is an unsustainable way to build valuable software, but this leak suggests that maybe this isn’t true — bad code can build well-regarded products.

The product hasn't been around long enough to decide whether such an approach is "sustainable". It is currently in a hype state and needs more time for that hype to die down and the true value to show up, as well as to see whether it becomes the 9th circle of hell to keep in working order.

> (though the "about notepad" dialog shows the windows 11 version for some reason??)

It's because the program just calls a Windows API to display the version dialog of Windows itself.
