Hundreds of dashboards that get outdated and stop feeding data correctly without anyone noticing... What can go wrong?

I agree with the idea that Looker is a low hanging fruit to replace a well maintained dashboard with a collection of one-use single case dashboards with the metrics AI decides is a bad decision, I think.

It's a shame the self-hosting route is mostly based on Cloudfare's cloud services and there's no documented way to set it up locally using Docker-compose and sqlite (or Postgres) for storage. Great tool, though!

I had an non urgent injury in Spain last week. Went to A&E and was seen by a doctor, x-rayed, and given advice and the results within 90 minutes. I paid zero euros for that on top of my taxes. Maybe it's an Italian problem... And for sure Spain has its own issues as well, but private is not always necessarily better.

The cringe part is when a real CEO says that in a speech.

Is there something similar to this that includes melody composition that's not tied to a scale? My son has been composing music for a couple years in Chrome Music Labs and he's definitely outgrown it, but I can't find anything that lives online (and ideally can be downloaded in a single html, love the idea) and allows any-length melodies to be composed within the browser with drumkits, etc...

Something like Caustic, but in HTML :-)

What about all the new unemployed lawyers and bureaucrats that feed on the broken American system?

Emily Wilson's translation is way better, more modern and adequate to present-day readers and, probably more context aware.

Is it me or this is one of the worst and knowingly less informed articles that has hit HN in a while?

Hallucinates on the first question I ask, as 90% of these models that try to take shortcuts.

For someone so mindful of efficient software and use of energy, it's showing that images on that post are 5MB PNGs...

Such an old problem solved very elegantly. Congrats. Remember the days of MySQL Workbench and how clunky it was.

A good way to think about it is finding how much it'd cost to buy and run a GPU that runs a model at around 100tk/s ("thinking" agents are not viable otherwise).

The figure mentioned in the video is not far off
