This feels more like a competitor to Goose than to Pi.

>I couldn't subscribe to a YouTube Family plan while I had it active

Luckily for me both expired yesterday and I was able to subscribe back again (first Youtube family and then Google AI plan).

Its an actual issue, Claude included all the relevant code and filed a detailed one so I don't see whats wrong with that.

While exploring an open-source project recently, I noticed a bug in the initial setup. I asked Claude to verify it, and the AI confirmed the issue. When Claude asked if I wanted to file a bug report, I agreed, assuming it would simply generate a formatted text block for me to copy and paste. However, I soon realized it had actually submitted the issue directly to GitHub. It turned out I had the GitHub CLI installed and was logged in with my work account.

Out of curiosity, I then asked Claude to draft an enhancement request for a new feature. It created a highly detailed issue and went on to generate the corresponding code for the enhancement.

I haven't submitted a pull request because the code is written in a language I don't know. Part of me considered submitting it anyway since it works and could be useful, but after reading this post, I think I'll just keep it under wraps.

Yes, I am surprised that no one talks about the 'live' feature in Gemini app. With camera turned on, it has helped me fix things which I have no clue about.

Eleventy + Decap CMS + gitlab has been working well for our marketing team for the past 3+ years. Also, with Claude/Gemini/Copilot it is a lot easier to edit templates and add new pages when all of the files are right there on your filesystem.

+1. AI agents can also fix minor bugs easily in open source software (it already did in two of the apps I use).

18 years here (more if I can count my non professional years). Agreed, coding isn't as much fun as it used to be but AI has only increased my enthusiasm for tech. Its a lot more easier to learn and understand new stuff, build things (especially personal tools) and tinker in any programming language.
